I’m Devyn O’Donnell, a photographer, graphic designer, and social media creative based in Rhode Island. I specialize in sports photography, events, and portraits, capturing moments with emotion, detail, and intention. In addition to photography, I design impactful visuals ranging from sports graphics and custom logos to promotional posters and athletic banners. I also create engaging social media content that keeps accounts active, cohesive, and visually strong, all while staying true to the identity and energy of the teams and individuals I work with.
Meet Devyn:
I discovered my passion for photography in 6th grade through my middle school yearbook, starting out by taking photos on my iPhone before receiving my first camera that Christmas. What began as a hobby quickly grew into something more, launching my own website sophomore year and working closely with teams and groups across RI. Outside of photography, I love traveling and live music, both of which inspire the energy and creativity I bring into my work. The most rewarding part of what I do is capturing meaningful moments that last far beyond the day they happen.
Creative Experience:
As a current senior at Cranston High School West, I’ve continued building my skills through involvement in our Honors Graphic Communications program, media program, and yearbook club. I've expanded my experience in photography and beyond into design and visual storytelling while also taking on leadership roles in all programs. I also manage our wrestling team, which includes managing their social media presence and creating content that reflects the intensity and pride of the sport.
Beyond school, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph music artists such as Holden Miller and to travel to various locations for events such as covering wrestling nationals level or my schools band in the Walt Disney World parade. Whether I’m shooting sports, events, or music, my favorite part of photography is building connections and preserving moments that truly matter.
